How the price is worked out
The exact amount comes in writing after a free site visit. Here is how each job is priced and what makes it cost more or less.
How it's priced
“By arrangement” helps no one. Here is how we price each job, so you know what to ask when you call others too.
| Job | How it's priced | What it depends on |
|---|---|---|
| Seasonal contract | A fixed monthly fee, March to November | Lawn area, hedges and beds, how often we come |
| Mowing | Per visit | Area, grass height, slope, clipping collection |
| Clean-up, leaves, hedge, pruning | Per visit, after a site visit or from photos | How overgrown it is and how much waste is hauled away |
| New lawn | Per square meter | Seed or sod, how much soil prep is needed |
| Automatic and drip irrigation | By design: number of zones and meters of pipe | Water pressure, type of heads, controller, trenching in an established lawn |
| Start-up and winterizing | Per system, by number of zones | How many zones and heads, access to the valve box |
What makes it cost more
A yard that hasn't been kept up for seasons. Steep ground. Lots of green waste to haul away. No water in the yard. Irrigation in an established lawn.
What makes it cost less
A contract for the whole season. Several jobs in one visit. A compost spot in the yard. Irrigation put in before the new lawn.
Two ways to work together
Seasonal contract
March to November, on a schedule. A fixed monthly fee, agreed after the site visit.
- The same people every time
- The work follows the yard's calendar
- Priority in the schedule in May and June
- Irrigation start-up and winterizing are in the plan
One-off visit
One job, when you need it. The price is given after a site visit or from photos.
- Clearing an overgrown yard
- Autumn leaves, pruning, hedge
- New lawn or irrigation system
How much water your lawn needs
Enter the area and see how many liters a week your lawn drinks in July and how many minutes one zone should run.
The site visit is free
Send two photos of the yard and tell us whether you want one job or the whole season. We'll tell you over the phone when we can come.
